“Celeste’s skills as a trainer have made our life with Forest immeasurably better. “Forest” was found by a friend along a forest road high up on Mt. Baker. His right front leg had been broken by a gunshot wound which had already healed over by the time he was found. The surgeon who repaired his broken bone estimated by the amount of scar tissue already present around the break that he had survived on his own for at least two weeks. After his leg had healed Forest began to display extremely aggressive behavior toward other dogs. He would just go wild with angry barking and snarling, with his hair standing on end. He was nearly inconsolable.
Celeste quickly understood that Forest’s anger was really fear. She taught us what we needed to know to communicate with him in a non threatening way and give him a home where he feels safe. She introduced us to dog toys that engage Forest’s mind and reduce his anxiety. She advised us about medical options available through our Veterinarian. Now forest can take a walk without having a complete emotional melt down if he sees another dog, and we can take him for a bath or to the vet’s office and manage him safely because Celeste has helped us to understand and properly address his anxieties.
Forest adores Celeste. These days she comes to walk him at least once a week and there is no denying it is the high point of his week, a special treat and so very good for him. With our busy schedules walks for Forest often are missed. Thankfully Celeste also provides Dog Walking services which really give us some peace of mind and keep his training properly reinforced.
Celeste is also our trusted house sitter whenever we travel away from home for business or leisure. I cannot express how fortunate we feel to have found in her a person who is an educated and caring professional both willing and able to stay in our home while we are away. Her dedication to, and passion for the welfare of animals is always evident, and best of all; she is good with people too.”

“Inca and I are so grateful we had Celeste to help us through her puppyhood. I don’t know who learned more, Inca or me. Celeste’s method of positive, reward-based training, whether through treats or a favorite toy, proved to me this is the way to raise a happy, well-adjusted, loving dog who wants to please. And the at-home sessions were especially nice since we didn’t need to leave the house. Having previously owned a dog, but not having worked with a trainer, I was amazed at how influential we are on a dog’s young life and how important it is to set them on a course of socialization and proper training early on. Inca wanted me to tell everyone that Celeste is the best!”

“When I was a wee girl, my mommy, Jen, had this awesome lady named Celeste come to our house to help with my training. I really loved her; she brought a clicker and my mom provided TREATS! How cool is that? What puppy wouldn’t love training with such positive methods? I learned to sit, stand, lie down, look in my mom’s eyes when she wanted my attention, play games, to be calm when asked, and learned to heel off-leash and on-leash. The nice lady told my mom to socialize me with people and other puppies so I often got to take trips into the big, fun world. I also attended doggie daycare. I learned to love people, children, other dogs, umbrellas and clowns. I am now a 3-yr-old and like to think of myself as a model canine citizen. My goal is to be a registered pet partners dog through the Delta Society. Thank you, Celeste, for teaching my human the right way to raise a dog!”
